Like usual my journal entries are far and few between. Yesterday was Christmas so I thought it was time that I enter some of my thoughts. ****************************** For many people Christmas is over. Trees will be undecorated and ornaments and lights carefully packed away for another year. The tree standing naked a stark contrast. As ornaments are packed away some will also pack away the Christmas spirit. Next year they will unpack it but for now it is to be placed in a box. The good deeds and kind words said for the year. No need to worry about the people who can use a helping hand all year long. As Scrooge comments there are agencies to help those people. So they wrap the Christmas spirit up in tissue paper and carefully place it in the box along with the ornaments. Hoping that when they unwrap it next year it will be intact. I am not ready to pack my ornaments away. And I hope that I will not pack the Christmas spirit away either. I hope that I will continue to smile at strangers and wish them a good day. That I will continue to find things to do to brighten someone's day. I hope that Christmas will live in me on a daily basis. I want to continue to experience the wonder and awe of the Christmas season. I am not ready for Christmas to be over for another year. I am not ready for the magic to disappear.
